David Peacock rejoins Paragon:DJ

David Peacock is a Tech house and techno featured dj from the North East of England he has been playing out since the mid nineties with a real passion for the art of mixing.
"I first got into DJing when I was messing about on a friend's turntables... I was instantly hooked. I was still going to lots of clubs but spent more and more time playing at friends' parties.
In November 2000 I entered and won the Muzik magazine 'Bedroom Bedlam', with what was described as 'easily one of the best Techno mixes they had heard in ages'. The demo had started off gradually, building up into some harder Techno. The victory led to performances at several clubs.
My next competition success came in April 2002, when I entered iDJ's 'Reader's Mixes' with a CD described as 'Soulful Detroit Tech House' (with the emphasis on the word 'Tech'). The mix came a respectable 2nd place.
In April 2003 I once again entered iDJ's 'Readers Mixes', this time with a Techno mix, which placed 5th against strong competition. The mix was described as 'warm' and 'Detroitian' at first, gradually 'transforming itself into peak-time stuff'.
In April 2005 I entered iDJ's 'Raw Talent' competition and won (against equally strong competition!)."
